House Broken

"Mmkay..." he sniffed hugging him.

Nobu patted his back, going over to the refrigerator. "Wanna help me make breakfast for Snowy?"

"Yaaay! Bweakfas!" He cheered, letting Nobu carry him into the kitchen counter. Snowman watched with a smile sitting at the table.

"You remember how I showed you to do the eggs?" Nobu asked, taking some out. "We crack them over the counter." He put one in Leslie's hand and covered it with his own. "Ready? One, two--" He tapped it against the counter twice and dumped the raw yolk I'm a bowl. "Yaaay, you did it!"

"Yaaay, yaaay!" Leslie cheered, looking at his father.

Nobu helped him do it a few more times, before he started to cook it over a pan. "Do you want to keep Snowy company now?"

Leslie nodded, before kissing his cheek and skipping to Snowman. “ I wike yo name." He said cutely.

"I like yours too little one." Snowman said, pulling him into his lap. “ Do you like cooking?"

"Mmhmm."

Nobu watched out of the corner of his eye, smiling. Snowman was so good with him... And that's what mattered the most. Once he finished, he put Snowman's plate in front of him. "Ta-da~ Bon appetite."

"Thank you." Snowman cooed, before kissing Nobu qucikly. “ It looks good. "

"Nyi have some?" Leslie asked before Snowman could even lift his fork.

Nobu cleared his throat. "Leslie... You can only do that with me. You can't food from other people." He said, taking an orange from the refrigerator. "Do you want an omelette with your breakfast?"

"Aww...kay." Leslie hummed.

“It's okay, you can have a bite." Snowman said gently blowing on a small piece before giving it to him.

“ Mmm...Daddy, I wan' one." He said happily.

Nobu sighed. "Of course you do. I thought you only liked fruits." He said, raising an eyebrow as he started on a second batch for himself and Leslie.

Leslie smiled happily. “ Tanks." He said, as Snowman ate his meal.

" This is very good Nobu, thank you...and your son is very polite. Most toddlers are selfish."

"I raise my boy like my father raised me..." He looked back at Leslie and grinned. "Grandpa is silly, isn't he?"

Leslie nodded eagerly as he hugged the fellow teacher. "Gampa funneh." He giggled.

After a few moments, he made a plate for Leslie and himself. "Sit in your chair now, Leslie. You can feed yourself, right?" He said, sitting down across from Snowman.

Leslie got in his chair and stabbed his food and tried to eat backwards....losing his food. ” Aww..." he whined trying again. Snowman watched sadly.

Nobu helped him out a bit. "You'll starve like that, buddy." He said. "Say 'aaaah'" he cooed, feeding him.

Leslie did as asked, tilting his head so he could eat. Snowman smiled as he watched.
