Emperor's New Clothes

"You can't...always control it. I know you can't...he's halfway here." Snowman reminded him, looking up at him.

Nobu looked down. "I'd rather be dead than without you... So you have to help me, or I'll be gone for good."

Snowman bit his lip, as he held him. "I'm scared...I don't want to fail you, but I'm so weak." he sobbed.

Nobu held on to him tightly. "No... You're stronger than you think. With you, I feel almost human again."

"Pray with me? Please." Snowman begged, looking up at him.

Nobu swallowed thickly. "F... Fine." He was afraid what would happen to him when he did. Would he catch fire?

Snowman gently scrubbed his back, meeting his gaze as he began to pray for repentance and acceptance.

Nobu let out a low growl as his skin began to let off a white smoke, his eyes narrowing. His fingers lightly dug into Snowman's shoulder, trying to fight the demon screaming in his head.

Snowman looked up at him. "Shall I stop?" he asked softly.

Nobu shuddered, resting godhead in his shoulder. "I... I can take it."

Snowman sighed, before starting up again, wrapping his arms around him lovingly. "Please...forgive him for his sins...he's sorry, he's trying so hard."

Nobu started to sink to his knees, a sharp pain taking over his body as the most rose. "Nnn... No." He groaned, panting softly.

Snowman began to cry. "Please don't take him away from me." he begged.

Nobu almost started to claw at him. "Snow... This hurts so badly." He said shakily, resting his head against his hip, hanging on to him.

Snowman winced as he stopped, sinking to the shower floor. He wrapped his arms around his lover. "I'm sorry...I can't save you." he whimpered, burying his face in his hair.

Nobu shook his head. "No... We'll try again later." He panted, his body trembling. "I'll do anything for you... Including this."

"If it's hurting you, you can't do it....we have to do something else." Snowman tried, shaking his head. "If I kill you, I'll never be able to forgive myself." He kissed him gently, running his fingers through his hair.

Nobu took his hands, squeezing them. "You have to. You know it's the only way." He reached over and turned off the shower. "Please, Snow. I want to be one with you again."
