House Broken

"Then will you tell me why you won't ever look at my face?" He asked, handing all of the papers over to him. "I feel like I've insulted you in some way."

"Y...You didn't." Snowman mumbled, biting his lip. If he knew how he felt it would probably make going to work even more difficult.

Nobu sighed, standing up straight again. "Okay... Fine. Keep it to yourself. I thought we were... Ah, never mind." He said. "Have a good night."

"Wait," Snowman called, looking at him,his face dusting with a very light shade of pink. "I...I uh..." he struggled, meeting his gaze.

Nobu stopped, turning around to look at him with his hands in his pockets. "Yes?"

Snowman fought with himself as he looked at him. "I...I like you, and I'm not angry with you...i...it's just that I...I like you more than I'm supposed to." he finally confessed, his face turning crimson, as he pushed his glasses further on his face.

Nobu blinked, his expression softening again. "You... Like me..." He said, thinking for a moment, before walking back over to him. "As in... You'd like to kiss me?"

Snowman's face turned crimson as he looked him in the face. "Y...yes." he stammered softly.

Nobu sighed, leaning against his car. "Well... I might be able to forgive you..." He said, a serious expression on his face for a moment, before it broke out into a grin. "... If you agree to go on a date with me."

Snowman blinked owlishly, holding his papers closer to his chest. “ A date? What kind?" He asked, completely surprised by these turn of events.

"A romantic one to make you fall hopelessly in love with me." He said, his grin becoming wider. Snowman couldn't tell if he was joking or not. "But that's if you're ready for it. I'm not a cheap person, Snowy."

Snowman tilted his head deep in thought, his glasses sliding down his nose again. “ When do you want to?" He asked.

"Tonight." He said with a smile. "Is that okay?" He'd had his eye on Snowman for a while now, and while the other man probably thought he was simply joking when he playfully flirted with him, that just wasn't so.

Snowman looked at the papers he had to grade, then at Nobu. He knew this would take all day, but at the same time...he wanted to know what it would be like to have Nobu to himself in that manner. "Okay." He caved, trading responsibility for his curiosity.

Nobu grinned. "Great. Come to my house around eight. I'll have everything ready." He turned to leave, but stopped after he had taken two steps. He came back, gently kissing the corner of Snowman's mouth. "See you tonight." He said quietly, before leaving, whistling a cheerful tune.

Snowman blushed heavily, nearly dropping his papers, well...that went well. He happily went to his car and hopped in.

Later that night, Snowman knocked on the door, wearing his nicest pair of jeans, a really nice T-shirt he never felt the need to wear and a blazer he usually wears for a trip to the bar. He pushed up his glasses, biting his lip...what if he's not interested after this?

Nobu answered the door with a smile, wearing a black button up shirt with nice blue jeans that complemented his figure. "Evening." He said, opening the door wider to let him in. "You look nice."

"Thank you." Snowman said, walking in. "You look nice t-" his eyes widened when something crashed into his leg. He looked down to see a well dressed toddler hugging him and smiling. “ Oh...hello."

"'Lo." He giggled.

Nobu picked him up. "This is my boy, Leslie." He said with a happy smile. "I tried putting him down for bed, but he wanted to meet you." He kissed his cheek. "I thought you promised to be a good boy."

"No sweepy Daddy." He whined, resting his head on his father's shoulder.

"It's bed time though." He looked at Snowman. "Go ahead and sit at the table while I get him to sleep." He walked off, tickling his son's belly.

The table had some candles on it, with a red cover on it, black wooden seats with red cushions on them. On the table was a delicious steak dinner, with white wine and pure silver forks and knives.

Snowman sat at the table in awe of how it was set...was he rich?

Leslie giggled as he was carried off, squirming in his arms.

Nobu changed him into his pajamas and tucked him in. "If you're a good boy and go to sleep, we can go get some ice cream tomorrow. Wouldn't you like that?"

"He too?" The baby asked eagerly, peeking from the sheets.
